Steinhaus

About the estate

The Steinhaus estate is located in Salurn within the Trentino-Alto Adige region and was acquired by the Gussalli Beretta family in 2017. Across nine hectares of vineyards situated at an altitude of approximately 600 meters, varieties such as Pinot Nero, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Sauvignon Blanc, Kerner, and Pinot Bianco are cultivated. The soils feature a calcareous substrate of marine origin alongside glacial moraines. Viticultural practices follow sustainable principles under SQNPI certification, incorporating soil cover and avoiding heavy pesticides. During vinification, white wines and the rosé are processed in stainless steel, while the Pinot Nero selections are aged in wood barrels.
