About the estate

The SOCIETA' AGRICOLA RATTI S.S. di RATTI PIETRO estate was founded in 1965 by Renato Ratti, who returned to Piedmont after studying at the Alba Enological School and acquired his first vineyard dedicated to Barolo production. Today, the family-run winery manages approximately 50 hectares of vineyards spread across estates in La Morra, Mango, Costigliole d’Asti, and Dogliani. The vineyards are cultivated following integrated and sustainable production methods, guided by a philosophy centered on the distinct identity of each specific subzone. Following the untimely passing of Renato Ratti in 1988, his son Pietro Ratti joined the company and continues to uphold the established traditions and vision. The estate produces wines that reflect the Piedmont region, encompassing renowned denominations such as Barolo DOCG and Barbaresco DOCG.
