About the estate

The Siegbert Bimmerle winery in Renchen-Erlach looks back on a family tradition dating back to 1936 and is currently run in the third and fourth generations. The vineyards extend across the Baden wine region and cultivate grape varieties such as Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Müller-Thurgau, Auxerrois, and Chardonnay. The soils range from arkosic sandstone and weathered granite to lime-saturated loess. The estate relies on careful hand-harvesting in small containers as well as gentle processing in the modern winery building. Through consistent quality management, the estate is counted among the most progressive family businesses in the region.
