About the estate

The Siderales, S.L., Bodegas estate emerged from the need to complement the innovative studies of Tonelería Quercus in the field of barrel toasting. The wines are produced under the Rioja DOCa denomination and rely strictly on Tempranillo and Garnacha grapes from vines over 50 years old belonging to small winegrowers in Rioja Alavesa. The vineyard soils are clay-calcareous and situated at an altitude of over 550 meters. For vinification, the winery relies on manual processing as well as fermentation and aging in small wooden barrels and vats. Specially developed methods such as horizontal rotational toasting are used to create distinctive and characteristic wines.
