About the estate

The Schauhuber organic winery is a family business operating across two locations in Groß Wetzdorf and Zaussenberg, with the ancestral home documented since 1795. The vineyards are situated on sandy loam soils in the hilly landscape around Heldenberg in the Wagram region. The estate has been organically managed since 2003, focusing on a quality-driven approach to viticulture. All wines are produced exclusively from estate-grown organic grapes to ensure distinctive character rather than mass production. The portfolio includes wines from the Weinviertler DAC denomination, ranging from classically dry quality wines to sweet wines.
