About the estate
The Mehofer – Neudeggerhof estate has been run by the family at Neudeggerhof in Neudegg in the Wagram region for more than 300 years and has been certified organic since 1992. The deep loess soils of the region form the foundation for the vines, with Grüner Veltliner, Roter Veltliner, and Zweigelt among the primary grape varieties. Wines from the Wadenthal single vineyard represent the pinnacle of the portfolio. In addition, the winery focuses on lightweight glass bottles, Piwi varieties, and its own electricity and heat supply.
