About the estate

The Urbanihof estate in Fels am Wagram looks back on a history of over 400 years and is currently run by the Paschinger family in the twelfth generation. The vineyards are situated on the loess soils of the Wagram region, which is shaped by a distinctive climate combining cool, mild, and warm winds. The winery has practiced bio-organic farming since 2000 and has been officially certified organic since 2016. The use of herbicides, chemical-synthetic crop protection products, and mineral fertilizers is consistently avoided. Instead, the estate relies on natural compost, low yields, and meticulous soil and foliage management to produce characterful wines bearing the Wagram DAC denomination.

The eno directory lists 16 wines, mostly from Grüner Veltliner and Roter Veltliner. The estate sells to retail. Export markets include Germany.
