About the estate

The SAN MICHELE Az. Agr. s.s. estate was founded in the early 1980s with the acquisition of several plots of land and a cellar in Capriano del Colle. Initially focused on producing bulk wine, the winery shifted its direction in the late nineties toward crafting higher-quality wines from grape varieties such as Marzemino and Trebbiano, alongside experiments with Metodo Classico and Passito. The entry of the family's new generation in the twenty-tens brought significant changes, notably the transition to organic farming practices. Today, the winery produces wines under various designations including Barbaresco DOCG, Barolo DOCG, and Capriano del Colle DOC.
