About the estate
The Ronk estate is located in Dobrovo v Brdih within the Goriška Brda wine region and was founded in 1988, beginning to bottle its own wines in 1993. The vineyards grow on the region's characteristic opoka soil consisting of marl, stone and clay, originating from an ancient sea bed. The winery focuses heavily on meticulous work in the vineyards to ensure minimal oenological intervention during the cellar process. White wines are matured in stainless steel tanks to preserve their freshness, whereas red wines undergo extended aging to develop greater aromatic intensity. A dedicated premium line showcases hand-picked grapes selected exclusively from the estate's top vineyard sites.
