About the estate
The Kmetija Prinčič estate is located in the Goriška Brda wine region, where vines thrive on a rich, airy Opoka soil formed by the weathering of marl rocks. The philosophy of the winery is traditionally sustainable, focusing closely on every detail of the surrounding nature. The cultivated grape varieties include Pinot Grigio, Ribolla, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc. Vineyard management utilizes the single Guyot training system combined with manual harvesting. The wines are vinified as dry styles and undergo maturation in 500-litre and 225-litre oak barrels.
