About the estate
The Quinta das Queimas Unipessoal, Lda estate in Tondela looks back on an agricultural and winemaking history spanning over 150 years in Santa Ovaia de Cima. Launched in 2018 by sisters Cristina and Graça Videira, the family project manages around 30 hectares of vineyards in the Dão DOC region. The historic vineyards include both old and newer plots featuring traditional grape varieties such as Encruzado, Malvasia, Gouveio, Bical, Cercial, Touriga Nacional, Jaen, Tinta Roriz, and Alfrocheiro. Vineyard management and winemaking focus on preserving traditional practices to craft authentic wines that reflect the character of the region.
