About the estate
The Kamara Winery was founded in 2010 by the Kioutsoukis family in Oraiokastro, Northern Greece. Spanning eleven hectares of vineyards on the slopes of Mygdonia, the estate primarily cultivates Greek grape varieties such as Assyrtiko, Malagousia, Roditis, and Xinomavro. The winery practices organic and permacultural viticulture featuring manual harvesting, natural fertilization, and minimal intervention. Vinification relies on spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts without filtration, followed by aging in old barriques, amphorae, or stainless steel tanks depending on the wine style.
