About the estate
The winery ΚΤΗΜΑ ΒΙΒΛΙΑ ΧΩΡΑ is situated on the slopes of Mount Pangaio in Kokkinochori near Kavala. It was established in 1998 by oenologists Vangelis Gerovassiliou and Vassilis Tsaktsarlis, who planted an organically farmed vineyard there. The estate currently spans 80 hectares, cultivating grape varieties such as Assyrtiko, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Merlot. All wines are produced at the modern winery surrounded by the estate's own vineyards. Today, all wines from the property are certified as organic wines.
The eno directory lists 18 wines, mostly from Assyrtiko and Sémillon.
