About the estate

The Ktima Gerovassiliou estate was founded in 1981 by Vangelis Gerovassiliou, who began by reviving the family vineyard in the Epanomi region near Thessaloniki. Today, the second generation of the family contributes with fresh ideas and specialized knowledge to the daily operations. The vineyards are cultivated with a focus on both Greek and foreign grape varieties, combining traditional vine growing with modern technological advances. The winemaking philosophy centers on producing high-quality wines that authentically reflect the distinctive characteristics of the local terroir. Additionally, the estate actively promotes wine culture through a dedicated wine museum and various educational and cultural activities.

The eno directory lists 13 wines, mostly from Malagousia and Xinomavro. The estate sells to importers and distributors. Export markets include Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria and France.
