About the estate

The Podere Giardino estate looks back on a long history that began in the late 19th century when great-grandfather Donnino combined dairy farming with the production of Lambrusco. Today, the winery in Emilia-Romagna is run by members of the Crotti family, who are dedicated to organic farming and the production of natural wines. In the vineyards situated in the countryside of Reggio Emilia, native grape varieties such as Lambruschi, Malvasia, and Spergola are cultivated. During cultivation and winemaking, the estate relies on organic practices, spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts, bottle fermentation, and avoids filtration as well as corrective ingredients.

The eno directory lists 12 wines, mostly from Lambrusco and Malvasia. The estate sells to retail.
