Pere Olivella Galimany

About the estate

The Pere Olivella Galimany winery has its origins in 1859, when the family acquired the Masia Can Pere del Maset estate. Surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, and forests, the property is strategically situated on a hill in Font-Rubí. Following the arrival of the phylloxera plague in 1893, the family reacted quickly and began replanting their vineyards with resistant rootstocks, which were subsequently grafted with traditional varieties from Penedès. Today, the estate operates within the Cava DO, Cava – Comtats de Barcelona, and Penedès DO denominations.
