Pazo San Mauro

About the estate

The Pazo San Mauro estate is located in the Rías Baixas region within the Condado de Tea sub-denomination and traces its history back to the construction of the historic mansion in 1591. The winery spans 30 hectares of vineyards with an average vine age of 35 years, sloping down towards the Miño river on natural terraces. The ancient granite subsoil and an Atlantic-influenced microclimate with mild temperatures and abundant rainfall shape the mineral and complex profile of the wines. Harvesting is carried out entirely by hand on a plot-by-plot basis, followed by meticulous vinification methods and bottle aging.
