About the estate

The Passot estate is a family-run winery located in Villié-Morgon in the Beaujolais region, originating from two historical winegrowing families and spanning several generations. The vineyards are cultivated following sustainable agricultural principles with limited use of herbicides and an emphasis on soil management and observation. The grape varieties include Gamay, yielding structured and fruit-forward wines with good ageing potential. The vinification process combines traditional Beaujolais techniques with Burgundian practices such as partial destemming and extended maceration. The production covers regional appellations including AOC Brouilly and AOC Côte de Brouilly.
