About the estate
The NIK WEIS - St. Urbans-Hof estate in Leiwen on the Mosel was founded in 1947 and is managed by Nik Weis in the third generation. Around 45 hectares of vineyards along the Mosel and Saar rivers are cultivated in harmony with nature, including prestigious sites such as Bockstein. The portfolio focuses exclusively on Riesling within the VDP.Ortslagen and VDP.Grossen Lagen, while Pinot varieties are also grown at the regional wine level. In addition to winemaking, the estate operates a private vine nursery and is dedicated to researching old Riesling clones. Vinification is carried out using natural yeasts exclusively.
