About the estate

The Monastero Dei Frati Bianchi estate in Fivizzano was founded in 2004 by Giorgio Tazzara and currently cultivates 3.2 hectares of vineyards in northern Tuscany. The vineyards are located in the hills of Lunigiana on soils rich in galestro and alberese, benefiting from a fresh and dry climate influenced by the surrounding mountains. The winery focuses on international varieties such as Syrah and Merlot alongside indigenous grapes like Barsaglina and Pollera. Vineyard management relies on natural methods with minimal intervention to express the distinct characteristics of the terroir in their Toscana IGT wines.
