About the estate
The Mine de Vin estate was founded in 2004 by Didier, with the help of his family, brothers, and friends, to revive a lost local heritage. The vineyards are planted on south-southwest-facing slopes and terraces on black carbonaceous shales composed of silica and black mica, with coal appearing at the surface in some areas. The vineyard includes 900 vines of Merlot, 800 vines of Mansois, and 200 vines of white grape varieties. The unique soil composition shapes the character of the wines.
