About the estate
The Mas Epic estate is a fourth-generation family winery located in the terroir of Castelnau-de-Guers within the Picpoul de Pinet appellation. Spanning 3.5 hectares of vineyards on clay-limestone soils, the estate cultivates Piquepoul blanc, Syrah, Carignan, and Cinsault under a Mediterranean climate. The contiguous hillside vineyard is surrounded by local scrubland and a rich local flora and fauna. The winemaking process focuses on micro-cuvées, utilizing stainless steel vats, oak barrels, and ageing on the lees. Production includes wines under the AOC Picpoul de Pinet and IGP Côtes de Thau designations.
