About the estate
The Maltese Ignazio estate manages forty hectares of vineyards in western Sicily, located within the heart of the Alcamo DOC denomination. The history of the winery dates back to nineteen twenty-nine and is currently managed by the family in its fourth generation. On the fertile soils, traditional white varieties such as Grillo and Zibibbo are cultivated alongside red grape varieties including Nero d’Avola, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Pinot Nero. The agricultural approach combines a long-standing philosophy with modern cultivation techniques. During vinification, careful attention is paid to capturing the distinct character of the regional terroir in every bottle.
The eno directory lists 4 wines, mostly from Zibibbo and Pinot Noir.
