About the estate

The Tenute Valso estate in Contrada Valso is rooted in a long family tradition shaped by the Vallone family across multiple generations. In the 1980s, Vito and Stefano Vallone recognized the potential of the rocky soils in the Valso and San Nicola districts and began cultivating the land. Later, the sons took over and transformed the operation into an estate producing its own wine. Today, the portfolio includes grape varieties such as Nero d'Avola, Grillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Perricone, Zibibbo, Syrah, and the native Catarratto, which forms the basis for the Alcamo DOC. Gabriele Vallone manages the technical and oenological activities, while his brother Fabio oversees the agronomic operations.
