About the estate

The AZIENDA AGRICOLA COSSENTINO estate has its origins in the 1960s, when Gaspare Di Trapani began growing grapes in Partinico in the province of Palermo. In the 1980s, the company project was formally established by Antonino Cossentino, who developed the family estate covering 21 hectares of vineyards. Located on the hills of Contrade Lavatore and Costa di Bisaccia overlooking the Gulf of Castellammare, the vineyards are farmed organically. The grape variety portfolio includes indigenous varieties such as Catarratto, Grillo, Nero d'Avola, and Moscato delle Rose, alongside international varieties like Chardonnay, Syrah, and Cabernet. The production includes wines under the Alcamo DOC and Sicilia DOC denominations, featuring still wines, sparkling wines, and a passito.
