About the estate

The Ludens S.A. company is a family-managed winery in Font-Rubí led by the winemaker Maura Rovira. The Sans-Rovira family farms 50 hectares of vineyards in the Penedès region, cultivating the native grape varieties Xarel·lo, Macabeo, and Parellada. Since its foundation in 1984, production has increased from an initial 30,000 bottles to over 150,000 bottles of Cava per year. Combining traditional production methods with advanced techniques, the Ludens estate produces Cava with exports directed to Europe, the United States, and China, among other regions. The winery is situated next to the historic Masia Grabuac, a landmark featuring modernist architecture.
