About the estate

The Leo Sauer estate in Eibelstadt is managed by the Röder family and cultivates a vineyard area of 9 hectares. The vines grow on heavy shell limestone soils in the Eibelstadter Kapellenberg and Eibelstadter Teufelstor sites. The winery manages its vineyards with a focus on environmentally friendly practices. All grapes are harvested exclusively by hand. The portfolio also includes non-alcoholic wine, for which the estate was a pioneer in Franconia.
