About the estate

The Lachinger estate manages ten hectares of vineyards in the Austrian Weinviertel region and is dedicated to producing regionally typical wines. The winery places great emphasis on quality-conscious manual labor in the vineyard, where all plots are selectively hand-harvested before the grapes are gently processed using modern machinery. In the cellar, cool and temperature-controlled fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks to preserve the distinct aromas of the white and red wines. The only exception is the Merlot, which is matured in barrique barrels and serves as a cuvée partner for the Zweigelt. The portfolio comprises aromatic white wines, full-bodied red wines, and grape juice.

The eno directory lists 9 wines, mostly from Grüner Veltliner and Merlot. The estate sells to retail. Export markets include Germany, Belgium, Czechia and Hungary.
