About the estate
The La Torretta estate is located in Grottaferrata in the Lazio region and boasts a long winemaking tradition managed by the family for generations. The vineyards cover an area of three hectares on volcanic soils within the Castelli Romani area. The winery operates according to organic and biodynamic guidelines, producing wine exclusively from its own grapes. The grape varieties cultivated include Bonvino, Bellone Velletrano, Grechetto, as well as various Malvasia and Trebbiano types. Vinification takes place traditionally inside an ancient hand-excavated tuff cave.
