About the estate
The La Raia estate is located in the heart of the Piedmont hills of Gavi and covers a total area of over two hundred hectares, with sixty-five hectares dedicated to vineyards. The Rossi Cairo family has managed the property since two thousand and two, shifting the cultivation methods entirely to organic and biodynamic practices. The vineyards are planted with varieties such as Cortese, Barbera, and Pinot Noir. The wine range includes several Gavi DOCG expressions as well as Piemonte DOC wines. Winemaking takes place in a cellar that features traditional raw earth pisé construction techniques.
