About the estate
The Cantine Volpi winery is managed in the fifth generation and looks back on a long-standing history. Located in Tortona in Piedmont, the current facility was established in 1961 and features modern equipment for vinification, aging in barriques and large French oak barrels, as well as bottling. The estate includes Cascina La Zerba in Volpedo, featuring an eco-friendly tasting room embedded in vineyards planted with Timorasso and Barbera. The vineyards are situated in a region dominated by sedimentary clay-marl soils and characterized by significant temperature variations before the harvest.
The eno directory lists 25 wines, mostly from Barbera and Cortese.
