About the estate
The La Chapelle Saint Bacchi estate is located in the commune of Jouques at an altitude of 350 meters and was revived in 2003 by Christian Valensisi. The vineyard covers seven hectares across the Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence appellation as well as Vin de France for varietal wines. Cultivation practices are certified organic by Véritas. Special care is taken in the vineyard and during vinification, notably regarding restricted sulfite levels. Harvesting is done exclusively by hand in the morning, followed by a meticulous selection of the grapes before tanking.
