Köfererhof

About the estate

The traditional Köfererhof estate in the Eisack Valley dates back to the year 976 and is run in the third generation by Günther and Gaby Kerschbaumer. Across a vineyard area of six hectares, the winery cultivates seven white grape varieties on terraced slopes situated at altitudes between 650 and 700 meters. The alpine conditions with extreme temperature variations shape the distinctive, mineral white wines of the Alto Adige DOC denomination. The hand-harvested grapes are processed gently in the estate cellar to preserve the typical freshness and elegance of the wines.
