About the estate
The Koch Reinhard & Dietlinde estate in Rechnitz is managed in the third generation and cultivates its vineyards in harmony with nature. In 1990, Reinhard Koch took over the winery from his father and now runs it together with his wife Dietlinde. The portfolio focuses on origin-specific wines such as Blaufränkisch and Welschriesling with the Eisenberg DAC denomination. The vines grow on mineral-rich green slate primary rock soils that impart depth and structure to the wines. The winery is the first estate in southern Burgenland to receive the Nachhaltig Austria certification.
