About the estate

The Stubits winery in Deutsch Schützen-Eisenberg looks back on a history of more than 100 years and is run today as a family business in the third generation. At the Eisenberg, the winemakers manage the vineyards with close-to-nature care to produce expressive wines such as Blaufränkisch. The unique clay- and iron-rich soils as well as the Pannonian-Illyrian climate of southern Burgenland shape the region's terroir. Walter and his son Armin combine traditional knowledge with modern cellar technology. The portfolio includes designations such as Eisenberg DAC and Eisenberg DAC Reserve.
