About the estate
The Joseph de Maistre estate has been based in the Centre-Loire region since 2020, cultivating a total of 35 hectares of vineyards within the AOC Menetou-Salon and AOC Reuilly appellations. The grape varieties Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Gris are grown on soils characterized by limestone and marine sediments. The entire estate operates under organic farming standards, with a portion of the vineyards managed biodynamically. During vinification, minimal intervention is applied in both the vineyard and the cellar to preserve the character of the terroir. The estate thus continues the traditional work of its predecessors Pierre Jacolin and Denis Jamain.
