About the estate
The Domaine de L'Ermitage estate is located in the Menetou-Salon wine region and is run by Laurence and Géraud de la Farge, with Laurence de la Farge being the daughter of one of the founders of the Menetou-Salon A.O.C. appellation. The estate was established in 2003, while the planting of the vines began in 1981 and wine production started in 2003. The modern winery equipment is housed in a specially arranged and restored former barn. The total vineyard area covers twelve hectares, which are entirely harvested by hand. Cultivation focuses predominantly on Sauvignon as well as a smaller portion of Pinot Noir for the production of AOC Menetou-Salon wines.
The eno directory lists 4 wines, mostly from Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc.
