About the estate

The ICARDI Az. Agr. S.S.A. estate is based in Castiglione Tinella on the border between Bassa Langa and Monferrato, tracing its origins back over a century to the efforts of Lino Icardi. Today, the winery operates within appellations such as Barbaresco DOCG, Barolo DOCG, and Langhe DOC under the direction of the family's descendants, producing around 360,000 bottles annually. Vineyard management follows natural and sustainable principles, avoiding synthetic chemicals and herbicides entirely while maintaining surrounding woodlands for biodiversity. In the cellar, the estate utilizes a combination of barriques, tonneaux, and large oak casks to age its fruit-forward and balanced wines.
