About the estate
The Ibai Viticultores, S.L. winery is a small project founded in 2014 in Rioja Alavesa. The name combines the French term clos for walled plots with the Basque word for river, establishing a connection to the Ebro. Two friends purchase or rent old vineyards to preserve these parcels from abandonment and secure their future. Farming is conducted organically with partial certification, while the cellar follows low-intervention practices. The objective is to produce characterful terroir-driven wines.
