The Herdade do Carvalhal - Soc. Vitiv. de Portalegre Unip., Lda estate is located in Portalegre within the Alentejo region and produces wines under the Alentejano IG and Alentejo DOC denominations. The vineyards are characterized by granitic soils. For vinification, selected grapes are transported in small boxes, subjected to a thermal shock in a cold room, and destemmed. Fermentation takes place separately by grape variety at controlled temperatures. A portion of the wine is aged in oak barrels before being bottled without filtration.

Cor ruby intenso. Grande complexidade aromática sobressaindo os frutos vermelhos. É suave e arredondado com estrutura e um bom final de boca.

Vinho de cor ruby vivo. Aroma a frutos vermelhos com nuances a café torrado. Na boca é um vinho com um bom volume suportado pelos taninos originários da uva e pelo curto estágio em barrica de carvalho.
