About the estate
The Haimer estate cultivates 17 hectares of vineyards in prime locations around Poysdorf in the northern Weinviertel region, including Neidharden, Kirchberg, Weißer Berg, Bürsting, Steinberg, and Steigelberg. The vineyards are tended as sustainably and gently as possible through natural cover crops, alternative pest control, and the application of compost, earning the winery the Certified Sustainable Austria status since the 2020 vintage. Leam and loess soils combined with hot summer days and cool autumn nights provide grapes with a special, rich aroma profile. Through rigorous crop thinning, targeted canopy and soil management, as well as gentle pressing, the characteristic taste of the grapes is captured in the bottle, focusing on styles such as Weinviertel DAC.
