About the estate
The Giauque Weinbau estate cultivates three hectares of vineyards in steep locations in Ligerz and further west in Schafis near Lake Biel. The plots are farmed according to ecological guidelines, involving a large amount of manual labor. In the cellar, white wines are aged in modern stainless steel tanks, whereas red wines mature in large oak barrels. The portfolio includes Chasselas and Oeil de Perdrix, which have already received medals. The winery combines traditional craftsmanship with modern technology.
