About the estate
The Frey Benoit estate is run as a third-generation family business in Blienschwiller, tracing its roots back to a polyculture farm started in the 1930s. The vineyards are mainly located around the village and within a five-kilometer radius stretching from Epfig to Dambach la ville on predominantly granitic, alluvial, and clay soils. The portfolio includes Riesling, and the estate has practiced organic farming for over 20 years, holding certification in Agriculture Biologique. Vineyard management relies on manual labour, careful soil cultivation, and environmentally conscious methods. In the cellar, the wines mature in traditional casks before being bottled under the producer's name.
