About the estate
The François Chidaine,Vigneron estate was founded in 1989 and currently spans 50 hectares of vineyards in Touraine. The vines thrive across more than fifty plots featuring flint-clay and clay-limestone soils, with Chenin Blanc as the dominant variety alongside Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Grolleau, Cabernet Franc, Côt, and Pineau d’Aunis. The winery has practiced organic agriculture since 1992 and follows biodynamic methods, complemented by manual harvesting with selective sorting. Vinification is carried out using indigenous yeasts in large wooden barrels to authentically reflect the characteristics of the AOC Touraine, AOC Vouvray, and Montlouis-sur-Loire appellations.
