About the estate

The family-run Domaine Franck Breton estate is located in Saint-Martin-le-Beau in the Loire Valley, covering eight hectares of vineyards. The vines grow on soils composed of sandy earth and flint with a tuffeau subsoil, which, combined with a sunny microclimate, provides optimal conditions for Chenin Blanc and other grape varieties. The estate works the soils exclusively through mechanical and manual methods without the use of herbicides, relying strictly on hand-harvesting and selective sorting. In the cellar, the wines are aged traditionally in barrels and demi-muids without chemical yeasts. The winery produces around 32,000 bottles annually, including Montlouis-sur-Loire in various styles as well as AOC Touraine red, rosé, and sparkling wines.

The eno directory lists 12 wines, mostly from Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc. Export markets include Belgium.
