About the estate

The Maison Laudacius estate is a cooperative winery located in Montlouis-sur-Loire on the Loire River, dedicated to preserving the heritage and identity of this unique wine region. The vineyards thrive on a diverse mosaic of soils including sand, gravel, clay, flint, and the blonde limestone known as tuffeau. Chenin blanc stands at the center of production, yielding dry, medium-dry, sweet, or sparkling styles depending on the vintage and vinification. Winemaking is overseen by cellarmaster and oenologist Sylvia, utilizing stainless steel tanks, oak barrels, and sandstone amphorae.
