About the estate
The Berger Frères estate manages 15 hectares of vineyards south of the Loire river at the Domaine des Liards. Soils composed of flint and limestone shape the distinct expression of the Chenin Blanc variety within the Montlouis-sur-Loire appellation. The winery converted to organic viticulture in 2011 and received official certification in 2014. The portfolio includes still wines as well as Crémant de Loire and traditional method sparkling wines. These cellar-worthy wines can be preserved for several decades.
The eno directory lists 9 wines, mostly from Chenin Blanc and Malbec. The estate sells to horeca.
