About the estate

The traditional Fassbinderhof estate in Gumpoldskirchen looks back on a history of over two hundred years and is currently run in the sixth generation by siblings Birgit and Christoph Grill. The approximately five hectares of vineyards are situated in the landscape around Gumpoldskirchen at the foot of the Anninger and are cultivated according to the guidelines of sustainable, controlled viticulture without the use of herbicides and insecticides. The grapes are harvested by hand, gently processed using modern pressing technology, and fermented and aged in modern steel tanks. The portfolio of the winery located in the Thermenregion DAC includes varieties such as Gemischter Satz, Welschriesling, Riesling, Spätrot-Rotgipfler, and Rotgipfler-Beerenauslese.

The eno directory lists 13 wines, mostly from Zierfandler and Zweigelt. The estate sells to horeca and retail.
