About the estate

The Alphart estate located in Traiskirchen in the Thermenregion looks back on a winemaking tradition dating back to 1762 and is managed today by the Alphart family. The vineyards are situated around the wine-growing villages of Gumpoldskirchen and Traiskirchen, where grape varieties such as Pinot varieties and the regional specialty Rotgipfler thrive on calcareous brown earth and weathered soils. Vineyard management has been fully organic since its official certification in 2025. The estate's artisanal principles include careful yield reduction and meticulous hand harvesting at the optimal time. Through this nature-conscious cultivation and modern winemaking, the winery produces characterful and age-worthy wines.
