About the estate
The Esencia Wines Cellars enterprise was established in 1999 in the heart of the Sierra del Carche within the Jumilla region. The vineyards are situated on the slopes of the Sierra del Carche on stony soil at an optimal altitude. Operations rely on a viticultural tradition passed down through generations and carefully selected vineyard parcels. The production focuses on Monastrell as the signature grape variety of the denomination of origin. In addition to winemaking, the estate operates a public wine museum that showcases regional wine culture.
The eno directory lists 15 wines, mostly from Mourvèdre and Petit Verdot.
